On November 17th, 2020, the Canadian Minister of Information, Science and Economic Development introduced Bill C-11, the Digital Charter Implementation Act (DCIA). This update aims to amend the law to maintain its EU adequacy determination with the EU after the Schrems II decision in July 2020.
